Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the BlackBerry Aurora to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folder(s)
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Under Device, tap Sound
- Tap Phone Ringtone under Call Ringtone & vibrate
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK and optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal storage.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to edit
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sound & notification under Device
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK to confirm
Enable / Disable Gmail Notifications:
- Launch Gmail
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Select an email account
- Tap the Notification check box to enable or disable Gmail notifications
