i just found out that u have to have web on your phone for most programs that allow you to make your own ringtones with Cds and Mp3s. Are there any without the web phone requirement?

See More: can i make my own ringtones and get them without having web on my phone?

are you sure that your phone allows real tones? Every website that I have looked at with details and specs on your phone, it says that it only allows polyphonic tones, NOT REAL TONES.

yeah im pretty dang sure because when i had free access to the interent for the first month on my cell phone, my sis download a maroon 5 song ring and it sounds EXACTLY as it would if you bought the CD and played it through a CD player

And plus, XINGTONE supports my cell phone for thier program, which lets you created a ring from your own Mp3 files or CD files

Buut of course that program requires web on your phone for it to work

And i dont have web. So where can i get my own musics files and use them as ringers without web requirements

Just a triple check here..... do you hear the vocal line... like... people singing? 'Cause a good sequencer will make it exact - except for the fact that it lacks a SINGER.

I'm not an expert with the phone or the provider... but there are programs that allow you to cut MP3's and change their quality, can you then email them to yourself?

I dont mean to insult you with these questions... its a matter of helping the relative (to me) experts to know we're all on the same page.

i downloaded xingtone trial version which is good for cutting and making ringtones out of mp3s but you have to have a WAP on the phone you want it to get sent to.

I think we've dealt with the A660 before and concluded it uses MMF format tones, not MP3 ringers. Most Samsungs do.
