I want to know how to make MP3 ring tones from my cd and I am glad I have found your post.

Go to Windows Media Player.
Click "Organize" from the menu bar and select "Options."
Go to the "Rip Music" tab and choose "MP3" in the Rip settings section.
By default, the ripped songs will be saved in the "Music" folder.
