To see your phone number:
1. From the home screen, go to Apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap About device.
4. Tap Status.
5. Your phone number will be displayed under My phone number.
To call a contact number
1. From the home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Go to the desired contact and to dial, simply slide your finger from left to right across the contract item.
3. You can also tap on a contact to display its contact entry and then touch the phone number to dial.
To make a call with S Voice
1. From the home screen, press the Phone icon.
2. Now touch S Voice.
3. After you hear the beep, speak your command. You can say:
- Call *name or number from your contact list*
- Redial *name or number from your contact list*
- Dial *name or number from your contact list*
Speed Dials
Note: You can assign 1, 2 or 3 digit shortcuts from 1 to 100 to your contacts to quickly make calls.
To assign speed dials, follow the next steps:
1. From the home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Tap Speed dial setting.
4. You will then see a list of speed dials displays. Now you have to tap a speed dial and select a contact that you want to assign to that speed dial.
To remove or reassign a speed dial
1. From the home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the Menu key.
3. Tap Speed dial setting.
4. Tap the Menu key and choose one of the following options:
- Remove: Tap the speed dial that you want to remove.
- Change order: Tap one of the assigned speed dials and then tap a new speed dial to change the order.
Note: Certain speed dial numbers are assigned by default and you will not be able to remove them. For example, number 1 is for Voicemail, number 97 for balance inquiries, number 98 for minutes inquiries, number 99 for payment inquiries and number 100 for data usage.
To make a call using speed dials
1. From the home screen, tap the Phone icon.
2. Simply input the digits of the speed dial number on the keypad and hold the last digit until the phone starts dialing.
