Restoring App Data from a Google Account:
- If necessary, log in with your Google account on the smartphone
- Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
- Tap "Settings" > "Accounts"
- Tap "Google", followed by "Sync all"
- Press "Back" and tap "Backup and reset"
- Mark / Clear the check boxes next to "Automatic restore" and "Backup my data"
Restoring App Data from a Samsung Account:
- While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
- Select "Add account" > "Samsung account", and sign in with your account
- Tap "Settings" while on the apps menu and select "Cloud" > "Restore"
- Choose the items that you wish to restore
- Tap "Restore now"
Restoring Contacts from a Google or Samsung Account:
- From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "Accounts"
- Select "Google" or "Samsung"
- Ta the email address at the top of the screen
- Mark the "Sync contacts" check box. If the box is already ticked, tap "Sync now"
Restoring Contacts from the SD Card:
- Access the "Contacts" application
- Go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
- Tap "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card"
- Select an account, and tap the vCard file that contains the backed up contacts
Restoring Media Files from the SD Card:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Launch the "My Files" app
- Tap "All files" > "SD card"
- Locate the files that you wish to restore
- Tap and hold a file and select "Move"
- Select and navigate to the desired (available) memory location
- Tap "move here"
Restoring Media Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a connection between the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom and computer via USB
- Swipe the "Status" bar down on the smartphone
- Tap "Connected as a media device" and mark the "Media device" check box
- From the AutoPlay window, click "open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
- Navigate to the location where you wish to restore the desired files
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the backed up files on your computer's HDD
- Copy the desired files and paste them on your phone's storage
- After the transfer is done, safely disconnect your smartphone
Restoring Media Files from a Mac Computer:
- Use the USB cable to connect the K Zoom to the Mac
- Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "media device"
- Open Samsung Kies on the computer
- In Kies, click the "Back up / restore" tab
- Click the "Restore" tab and mark the check boxes next to "Music", "Photo" or any other type of file that you want to restore. NOTE: optionally, you can click "Select all items"
- Click "Restore" and follow the on-screen prompts
- After the process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the Mac
