Restoring App Data from a Google Account:

  1. If necessary, log in with your Google account on the smartphone
  2. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
  3. Tap "Settings" > "Accounts"
  4. Tap "Google", followed by "Sync all"
  5. Press "Back" and tap "Backup and reset"
  6. Mark / Clear the check boxes next to "Automatic restore" and "Backup my data"

Restoring App Data from a Samsung Account:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
  2. Go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
  3. Select "Add account" > "Samsung account", and sign in with your account
  4. Tap "Settings" while on the apps menu and select "Cloud" > "Restore"
  5. Choose the items that you wish to restore
  6. Tap "Restore now"

Restoring Contacts from a Google or Samsung Account:

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Accounts"
  4. Select "Google" or "Samsung"
  5. Ta the email address at the top of the screen
  6. Mark the "Sync contacts" check box. If the box is already ticked, tap "Sync now"

Restoring Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Access the "Contacts" application
  2. Go to the "Contacts" tab
  3. Press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
  4. Tap "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card"
  5. Select an account, and tap the vCard file that contains the backed up contacts

Restoring Media Files from the SD Card:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Launch the "My Files" app
  3. Tap "All files" > "SD card"
  4. Locate the files that you wish to restore
  5. Tap and hold a file and select "Move"
  6. Select and navigate to the desired (available) memory location
  7. Tap "move here"

Restoring Media Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a connection between the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom and computer via USB
  2. Swipe the "Status" bar down on the smartphone
  3. Tap "Connected as a media device" and mark the "Media device" check box
  4. From the AutoPlay window, click "open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  5. Navigate to the location where you wish to restore the desired files
  6. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the backed up files on your computer's HDD
  7. Copy the desired files and paste them on your phone's storage
  8. After the transfer is done, safely disconnect your smartphone

Restoring Media Files from a Mac Computer:

  1. Use the USB cable to connect the K Zoom to the Mac
  2. Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "media device"
  3. Open Samsung Kies on the computer
  4. In Kies, click the "Back up / restore" tab
  5. Click the "Restore" tab and mark the check boxes next to "Music", "Photo" or any other type of file that you want to restore. NOTE: optionally, you can click "Select all items"
  6. Click "Restore" and follow the on-screen prompts
  7. After the process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the Mac
