Contact Management
Add a Contact:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Access the "Contacts" tab and press "+"
- Choose to save the contact to "Device", "SIM card", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
- Enter the contact's details in the proper fields
- Type in the contact's phone number and select the type of phone number
- When you're done editing the contact, tap "Save"
Add a Contact to Speed Dial:
- From the home screen, tap "Phone"
- Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
- Press "menu" > "speed dial"
- Tap the number you want to use for speed dial
- Choose the contact to associate with the selected dial pad number
Delete Contacts:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- From the "Contacts" tab, press "Menu"
- Tap "Delete" and mark the check boxes associate with the contacts you want to remove
- Tap "Done" and press "OK" to confirm
Import / Export Contacts
Importing / Exporting from the SIM Card:
- Open the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
- Follow one of the sets of steps below:
- To export contacts:
- Tap "Export to SIM card"
- Tap "Select all" or choose the contacts you wish to import individually
- Tap "Done" > "OK"
- To import contacts:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- Select an account if necessary
- Mark the contacts you want to import or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done"
- To export contacts:
Import / Export from the SD Card:
- Open the "Contacts" app and go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
- Tap "Import /Export" and perform one of the following:
- To import contacts:
- Tap "Import from SD Card"
- Select the location where the contacts should be imported
- Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- Press "OK". If required, select a vCard file and tap "OK" again to confirm
- To export contacts:
- Tap "Export to SD card"
- Press "OK"
- To import contacts:
Manage Caller Groups
Create a New Caller Group:
- Tap "Contacts" from the home screen
- Access the "Groups" tab
- Tap "Create" and enter a name for the group
- Tap "Add member" and mark the check boxes associated with the contacts you wish to add
- Tap "Done" > "Save"
Add Contacts to an Existing Group:
- Launch "Contacts"
- From the "Groups" tab, select the desired group
- Tap "+" and select the contacts you want to add to the group
- Tap "Done"
