Block Calls:
- Tap Phone on the home screen
- Tap More > Settings > Call rejection
- Tap Auto reject list
- Perform one of the following:
- To enter and block a phone number:
- Enter the phone number
- Optionally, set the match criteria to anything other than Exactly the same as in order to block numbers from a certain area code or network etc.
- To search for and block a number:
- Tap Contacts
- Tap Logs or Contacts
- Select the number you want to block
- To block unknown callers, enable Unknown
- To enter and block a phone number:
Unblock Calls:
- Tap Phone on the home screen
- Tap More > Settings
- Select Call rejection and tap Auto reject list
- Tap the red - button associated with the contact you want to unblock
Block / Unblock Messages:
- Tap Messages on the home screen
- Tap and hold the conversation thread exchanged with the contact you want to block
- Tap Add to spam numbers
- To unblock messages, simply tap Remove from spam
Block / Unblock Messages via Settings:
- Tap Messages on the home screen
- Tap More > Settings
- Tap Spam filter to enable the option
- Tap Manage spam numbers
- Enter the phone number you want to block or tap + and select from Inbox or Contacts
- Tap Back to confirm
- To unblock messages, follow the first 4 steps above and then:
- Tap - next to the number you want to remove
- Tap Back
Forward All Calls:
- Tap Phone on the home screen
- Tap More > Settings
- Tap More settings
- Go to Call forwarding
- Select Always forward
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
- Tap Turn on
Forward Calls (Conditional Forwarding):
- Tap Phone on the home screen
- Tap More > Settings
- Tap More settings > Call forwarding
- Select to Forward when busy, Forward when unanswered or Forward when unreachable
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
- Tap Update
Disable Call Forwarding:
- Launch Phone
- Tap More > Settings > More settings
- Tap Call forwarding
- Select Always forward
- Tap Turn off

I do not want any call logs , nor incoming nor outgoing to be saved , how do I go about it in my J5

Hi Manny,
I'm not aware of any option that would disable the call logs altogether, sorry.
As for the "match criteria" option missing, maybe it's available only in certain regions / on certain variants.
But you can always try a third-party app instead. After a quick search, it looks like Call Control has options for blocking calls from specific area codes etc.

Whenever in my galaxy j5 try to make call it responds back with "You can't make outgoing calls while call barring is on" .. what is the solution to this problem?? Please if u can then reply back soon .. Thank you
