Using a Google Account:

NOTE: You can sync your SGSIII contacts with your Google account, after which you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Galaxy On7.

  1. On the Galaxy SIII, sign in with your Google account
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Tap “My Accounts” and select “Google”
  4. Tap your “user name” or “email address” at the top
  5. Turn on “Sync Contacts” and tap “Sync now”
  6. Switch to the Galaxy On7 and sign in with the same Google account used on the SIII
  7. Go to “Settings” > “User and backup” > “Accounts” and tap “Menu” > “Sync all”

Using “Contacts”:

NOTE: Using the Contacts app on both the Galaxy On7 and SGSIII, you can export, transfer, and import the contacts from the SIII to the On7.

  1. Open “Contacts” on the SIII
  2. Access the “Contacts” tab
  3. If necessary, tap “Menu” > “Contacts to display” and switch to “All contacts”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export”
  5. Select “Export to SD card”
  6. Once the vCard file is created, open the email client on the SGSIII
  7. Compose a new email and attach the vCard file
  8. Send the email to your own address
  9. Switch to the Galaxy On7 and open the email
  10. Download the attached vCard file and import it using the “Contacts” app

NOTE: Once you have created the vCard file on the SGSIII, you can transfer it to the Galaxy On7 by connecting both smartphones to your computer and manually copy-pasting the vCard from one phone storage to the other. Then, use the “Contacts” app on the On7 to import the file’s contents

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: You can also use third party applications to transfer your contacts. Send Anywhere is a third party app that uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on both smartphones
  2. Open the app on both devices
  3. Tap “Send” on the Galaxy SIII
  4. Tap “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  5. Tap “Send” and choose a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the Galaxy On7 and enter the transfer code generated on the SGSIII, or you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the Galaxy SIII, and scan the code with the On7’s camera to begin the transfer
