How-to: Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime: Block / Unblock Calls & Messages; Manage Call Forwarding

Block Incoming Calls:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More”
3. Go to “Settings”
4. Tap “Call rejection” > “Auto reject list”
5. Follow one of the steps below:
   
   • To block a call log entry: launch “Contacts”, go to “Logs” or “Contacts” and select the phone number / contact you want to block
   • To block a phone number: enter the phone number and ensure “Exactly the same as” is selected
   • To block unknown callers: turn on “Unknown”

Unblock Calls:

1. Open “Phone"
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Call rejection”
4. Access “Auto reject list”
5. Tap “-“ next to the phone number you want to unblock

Block / Unblock Messages:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap and hold the conversation thread exchanged with the contact / number you want to block
3. Tap “Add to spam numbers”
4. To unblock messages, follow the same steps above and then select “Remove from spam” at the last step

Block / Unblock Messages via Settings:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Settings”
4. Turn on “Spam filter” and tap “Manage spam numbers”
5. Enter the phone number you want to block messages from, or tap “+” > “Inbox” / “Contacts”
6. Press “Back” to confirm the changes

NOTE: To unblock messages, follow the first 4 steps above and then tap the “-“ sign associated with the contact / phone number you want to unblock.

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Go to “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding” and select “Always forward”
5. Enter the phone number you want to forward incoming calls to
6. Tap “Turn on”

Forward Calls (Conditional Forwarding):

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Go to “More settings” > “Call forwarding”
4. Choose to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unanswered” or “Forward when unreachable”
5. Enter the phone number you want to forward incoming calls to
6. Tap “Update” / “Turn on”

Turn Off Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “More”
3. Open “Settings”
4. Tap “more settings”
5. Go to “Call forwarding”
6. Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
7. Tap “Turn off”
