Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can share the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Samsung phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Samsung device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
  5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  6. Once the file is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Use the Internet browser on the PC to import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Samsung phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party applications to share your iPhone contacts without requiring a computer with Internet access. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Write a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email attachment to your own address, and switch to the Samsung device
  6. Open the email on the Samsung phone and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring contacts. The app uses a pere-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method, such as “Receive” on the Samsung device and “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the contact transfer
