Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Samsung device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB via the Lightning cable
  3. Once it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Go to the “Info” section and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Samsung device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contact and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  6. Once done, open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”
  7. Alternatively, skip the step above and instead, connect the Samsung phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application on the phone
  3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the app to create a vCard backup file of your contacts
  4. Once done, tap “Email”
  5. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
  6. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  7. Switch to the Samsung device, open the email and download the vCard
  8. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on both Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and select the desired transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
