Sync iPhone Contacts With Google via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Samsung device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Samsung device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Samsung phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the backup file is created, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email + attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Samsung device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the Google Play Store on the Samsung device and install the same app
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and then choose a transfer method on one of the devices
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
