Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
  5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories under “Media”
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound & Vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “Back” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Go to “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More”
  5. Go to “Ringtone” and tap to allow storage permission
  6. Select the desired ringtone
  7. Tap “OK” > “Back” to confirm

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address and scroll to “Notification settings”
  5. Tap “Email notifications” and tick or clear the desired check boxes
  6. Enable or disable “Notification sound” and “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Tap “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Go to “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts”, “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
