How-to: Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018): Create and Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

Create a Contact:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “+’
3. Select to store the contact on “SIM card” or to sync it with a Google account
4. Enter the contact’s phone number, name, and optional details in the appropriate fields
5. Tap “Save”

Import/Export Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings” > “Manage contacts”
4. Tap “Move contacts from phone…” and select an account
5. Tap “Move” > “Import” / “Export Contacts” and perform one of the steps below:
   
   • To import contacts: tap “import” > “SD card” and select the contacts you wish to import. Then tap “Internal storage” > “Done” > “Import” > “OK”
   • To export contacts: tap “Export” > “SD card” and select the desired contacts, then tap “Done” > “Export” > “OK”

Add Contacts to Speed Dial:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Access the “Contacts” tab
3. Tap “Menu” > “Speed dial”
4. Select the dial pad number you want to use for speed dialing and the contact to associate with it
5. Tap “Back” to confirm

Delete Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Select the contact you want to remove
3. Tap “Menu” > “Delete”
4. Press “Delete” again to confirm

Create a Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Groups”
3. Tap “Create” and enter the desired name for the group
4. Optionally, select a group ringtone and add the contacts
5. Tap “Save” to confirm

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Select the desired contact
3. Tap “Details” > “Edit”
4. Go to “Groups”
5. Tick the check boxes associated with the desired caller group
6. Tap “Back” > “Save”
