Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android device and computer
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notifications folders
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound and vibration
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Back to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap the desired contact and go to Details
- Tap Edit > More > Ringtone
- Enable Allow storage permissions if necessary
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:
- Launch Email
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Manage accounts
- Select your email address
- Go to Notification settings > Email notifications
- Clear or check the Vibrate and Notifications check boxes
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Access Emergency alert settings
- Tap Emergency alerts
- Turn Imminent extreme alerts Imminent severe alerts and AMBER alerts ON or OFF
