Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate and copy the desired audio files from a PC
  5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folder(s)
  6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Back”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap the desired contact
  3. Go to “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  5. Enable “Allow storage permissions” and select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Manage accounts” and select your email address
  4. Access “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  5. Check or clear the boxes associated with “Notifications” and “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
