Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the process completes, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and then export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard and follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- After the vCard is done, send it to your own email address as an attachment
- Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without needing access to a PC.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
