Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Back”

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Access “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  5. If necessary, enable ”Allow storage permissions”
  6. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address
  5. Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  6. Tick or clear the check boxes linked with “Notifications” and “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
