Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Back”

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Go to “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “more”
  5. Tap “Ringtone” and if necessary enable “Allow storage permissions”
  6. Select the ringtone you want to set
  7. Tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Access “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address”
  5. Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  6. Clear or tick the check boxes associated with “Vibrate” and “Notifications’

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings”
  4. Access “Emergency alert settings” > “Emergency alerts”
  5. Turn “Imminent sever alerts” Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
