Back Up App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Cloud and account”
  3. Tap “Backup & Restore”
  4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your account
  5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow data to be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

Back Up Contacts on an Account:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Cloud and account”
  3. Access “Accounts”
  4. Select the desired backup account
  5. Enable “Contacts” and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Switch to “All contacts” if needed
  4. Tap “Import/Export” > “Export to SD”
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Back Up Media Files to Phone Storage:

  1. Launch “My Files”
  2. Go to “internal storage”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Share”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Share” and select the desired backup location

Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on the phone
  5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC storage
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the computer
