How-to: Samsung Galaxy J6+: Block/Unblock Calls and Messages, and Manage Call Forwarding

Block Incoming Calls from a Contact:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Block numbers”
4. Perform one of the following step:
   
   • To block a phone number: enter it and ensure the match criteria is set to “Default”
   • To block unknown callers: enable “Block unknown callers”
   • To block a contact from the phonebook or call history: go to “Recents” or “Contacts” and select the phone number/contact

Unblock Calls from a Contact:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Blocked numbers” and tap the “-“ symbol linked with the phone number/contact you want to unblock

Block Messages:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Block Messages”
4. Tap “Block numbers” and enter the desired phone number
5. Alternatively, tap “+” and select from “Contacts” or “Inbox”

Unblock Messages:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Block numbers”
4. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the phone number/contact you want to unblock

Reset the Call Log:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Access “Recents”
3. Tap “menu” > “Delete”
4. Select the desired call log entry or tap “All”
5. Tap “Delete”

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings” > “More settings”
3. Go to “Call forwarding”
4. Select “Always forward” and enter the phone number or select the contact you want to use for call forwarding
5. Tap “Turn On”

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “More settings” > “Call forwarding”
4. Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable” “When unanswered” or “When busy”
5. Enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding or select a contact from the phonebook
6. Tap “Turn On”

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding”
5. If necessary, select the forwarding option you want to turn off
6. Tap “Turn Off” to confirm
