Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and/or notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound and vibration
- Tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Back
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: custom ringtones cant be assigned for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Details > Edit > More
- Tap Ringtone and enable Allow storage permissions if necessary
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Incoming Email Settings:
- Open Email
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Manage accounts
- Select your email address
- Tap Notification settings > Email notifications
- Tick or clear the Notifications and Vibrate check boxes
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Access Emergency alert settings
- Tap Emergency alerts
- Enable or disable Imminent extreme alerts Imminent severe alerts and AMBER alerts
