Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Cloud and account
- Tap Backup & Restore
- Enable Back up my data to back up app data to your account
- Enable Automatic Restore to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps
Back Up Contacts to an Account:
- Open Settings and access Cloud and account
- Tap Accounts
- Select the desired backup account
- Enable Contacts and tap menu > Sync Now
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open Contacts
- Tap Menu
- Tap Settings and switch to All contacts if necessary
- Tap import/Export > Export to SD
- Tap OK to confirm
Back Up Media Files to Phone Storage:
- Launch My Files
- Go to Internal storage
- Tap Menu > Share
- Select the desired contacts and tap Share again
- Select the desired backup location
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on the phone
- Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
