  2. Go to “Apps” and select the desired app
  3. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”

Clear the Phone’s Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise doesn’t work as intended and you’re thinking of factory resetting it, alternatively you can try fixing the problems by clearing the phone’s cache partition. This can have results similar to a factory reset without losing personal data from the device.

  2. Press and hold “Power” ‘Volume down” and the “Bixby” or “Home” buttons simultaneously
  3. Wait for the Android screen and release the buttons
  4. Once in Android Recovery, press “Volume down” to navigate the recovery menu and highlight “Wipe cache partition”
  5. Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
  6. Next highlight “Yes” and press “Power” to confirm
  7. Once the process completes, ensure “Reboot system now” is highlighted and press “Power”

NOTE: If clearing the phone’s cache partition didn’t solve the issues, you can check this thread for instructions on how to factory reset the device instead.

  6. Select the desired app
  7. Tap “uninstall” two times to confirm
