As per below link from FutureDial, it seems that A660 is not in it's compatibility list:
http://www.futuredial.com/matrix/M_Samsung.htm
However, it is last updated in Jan. I suggest you contact FutureDial for help. By the way, have you download Updates for your phone. You can find it in the same link as above.

Extract the zip file and then run setup.exe to install the driver. After that see if A660 is on the list of phone models during the FutureDial SnapMedia installation.

I also have the FutureDial software (SnapSync) as sold by Bell Mobility, and all it does is sync the a660 phone list with MS Outlook contacts. There does not appear to be any utility to enable actual communication with the hardware...i.e. to transfer files to-from the phone. Far as I am concerned it's almost totally useless ($70 CAD for the software), and it only does 1 task...which any number of other utilities can do equally well.
I want to transfer ringtones and screensavers, edit settings, and generally take control of my phone.
BitPim does NOT recognize the phone, and I HAVE installed the Samsung driver. Like in other posts it is listed as a Samsung CDMA modem in device manager, com3, but B-P fails to recognize that there is a phone connected to the computer.
Any suggestions?

Incidentally, I have reviewed the BitPim tutorial on thePhonemall.net; although it's not specifically about the a660, its look-&-feel is well described there. I followed the port setup by editing the 'settings' but stil no success.

Try the following link and see if it works for your A660:

Mind you, be very careful when you are playing with the files directly.Last edited by js1662; 10-15-2005 at 06:29 PM. Reason: Add more comment!
