question about the a930

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it....

I recently just got the samsung a930. So far I haven't had any major problems with it. There's just one thing that sort of bugs me about it. I don't know if it is just my phone that has this problem or if there is an option on the phone to fix it...But, everytime I have a missed call the external display screen will only show that there is a missed call for maybe about 2 minutes or so. I've missed many phone calls and didn't have a clue that I missed any because of that. It wasn't until I actually flipped the phone open to realize it. If anyone has details please share!! Thanks!
