just have a few questions, searched but couldnt come up with anything

1. is there a way to make background images stretch to fit the screen? i've been trying to resize them etc. so they fit the whole background but even when i think i make it big enough it will usually leave white space on either the sides or top

2. is there a way to edit which options you have set for the soft buttons? mine currently are Menu and Mall, i would like to change it to menu and contacts

3. is there a way to turn the clock totally off? so there is no date or time on the main screen?
