GPS equipped smartphone - Samsung SGH-i550

Introducing the world’s first GPS navigator equipped smartphone, the Samsung SGH-i550, which is currently showcased at the Symbian Smartphone Show in London. Powered by Symbian OS v. 9.2 and S60 3rd dition, Feature Pack 1, the SGH-i550 allows users to personalize the applications they wish to install on their phone thanks to the numerous S60 apps library, and these programs can also easily accessed via dedicated hot keys on their phones.

Aside from the GPS navigator function, other features include a 2.6″ LCD screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with video editing capability, 128MB RAM, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, FM radio and 150mb oboard memory, to name a few. The smartphone is slated for a November release in Europe.
