cell wont charge

My wife dropped her a880 into a mudpuddle and didnt tell me until a day later. It works fine but when you plug the charger in, it powers off and wont charge. When you plug it in with it turned off, it says theres no battery hooked up. I took it apart and blow dried and didnt work.

I would try to get a new battery first. If that doesn't work, get a new phone.

hmmm...there could be many things that have gone wrong with the phone. I am surprised the phone even turned back on. Water damage is the biggest reason people have to buy new phones.

I would say the phone is shot. You could find another battery and see if it will charge...but I don't think it's the battery so much as water got in the phone and has shorted it out.

Sorry to say, but I think your going to have to buy another phone.
