This phone will have CDMA & GSM, finger print security, WiFi, MicroSD, 2mp camera. Sounds neat!
Anyone hear of a release date?

Re: Samsung Saga SCH-i770 Release
I checked Verizon's web site, and as of today it's on there! Went into my local Verizon store to pick mine up, but it's not out in stores yet. They think it will be another week or so.
However, I simply placed a *611 call into Verizon, and was able to order it by phone. Needless to say, I'm very excited, and should have it in my hands by Thursday. Even the Verizon rep was singing this phone's praises, saying that he feels it is the most well rounded and full featured phone they are releasing this year. I say forget the Blackberry storm, because this phone will have so many great features!

I really want this phone, I have an i760 and think that I'm ready to lose the slider. Anyone know how thing this is in comparison to a treo?

Re: Samsung Saga SCH-i770 Release
had a treo 600, 650, 700p, then got sick of the buggy 700p and went with a MW xv6800 slider, couldn't stand having to slide open the keyboard all the time to do anything so went back to a centro.
Got the i770 friday.
couldn't be happer.
not a single thing i dont like.
it's snappy, has a great keyboard, the optical mouse is actually pretty cool. I could see it becoming the new standard instead of d-pads. Either wm 6.1 is way better then wm6 or samsung tweaked this thing very well. The UI us just much more user friendly and intuitive then the original WM6 on the XV6800. It's just as easy, user friendly, and one hand ready as palm os- but new and not 10 years old.
Comes with opera browser which takes some getting used to compared to blazer on palm OS or PIE on WM, but worth the learning curve. You can get like any page with it- and it's apple-like that it shows you the whole page and then you can zoom in to the part you want. It doesn't just zoom in graphically though- it refromats what you selected to fit the screen.
really very cool.
the only down side is it's so new that there's not a "go to" forum for it.
