    Re: Dum question...

Sorry, but no such model (Samsung v400) exists. Please verify that the model number you put in the post is the right one.
Hopefully we'll be able to answer from there.

But ... if you are referring to a Motorola i580 Nextel / Boost cell SIM card, then no. No Samsung model can support Nextel / Boost mobile. Samsung is considered GSM.
Nextel / Boost Mobile use all Motorola phones, because Motorola invented the technology called iDEN. iDEN is not comparable with GSM.

They both use SIM cards, yes, but the technology is totally different.
Think of it this way. Think of iDEN as A/M radio, GSM as FM radio.
You can't get an A/M radio station while tuned into FM, and vise-versa.

    Re: sim card in i580

There's a lot of speculation about Sprint phones being used for Nextel.
Some people say yes, some people say no.
This phone is CDMA, meaning it can't accept a SIM card. Nextel is a no. I don't care what other people say, Nextel isn't going to work right on these phones.
