According to Samsung's website, third party developers will now have the opportunity to develop TouchWiz widgets.

TouchWiz widgets are built with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. So if the developers want to port widgets from TouchWiz on WinMo to TouchWiz on Symbian, CSS testing and tweaking would have to be done.

Instead of owning or using 20 different handset to test widgets, Samsung is kind enough to provide interested developers with a virtual device laboratory that is free, allowing them to remotely test widgets. Discussion boards will be available if developers feel like offering tips and suggestions and before a widget can go public, they will have to be certified first.
