I installed a 8GB micro SD card into the phone today. I connected the phone to my computer and immediately formatted the card using Fat 32. I then created two folders, DCIM and Music. I then uploaded to the card 4 .jpg files which I was hoping to use for display purposes.
I went to Fun>Camera>settings>storage and set it to the card. The issue is that it does not stay on the card it reverts back to phone. I do not see any kind of save button, nor does the manual indicate that there is a need to save.

you have to format the SD card on your phone first, and then create a folder to save pictures.

Okay so I figured it out. I called my phone company and they didnt help so i tinkered around till i got it to work. first off you have to open ur pictures then insert sd card then there will be a option that appears that says More click on that and then u can transfer to the SD card. after that you follow the instructions in the above posts to have it save to the sd card from then on. If you need any help my email is [email protected].

Re: Saving Photos to the Micro SD Card

Actually, I figured it out as well.
Originally when I put the Micro SD card into teh phone, I performed a "quick" format. That should have been good enough but it wasn't.
I did a full format and then created the folders and copied teh images into the card. this time it worked.
BTW-I then had an issue with creating my own ring tones and uploading them, but after researching across the internet I finally figured that one out as well. Pain in the butt, having to use multiple apps before ending up with a QCP file, but it worked.
