News: Android 2.2 Froyo update now available for Samsung Acclaim

The Samsung Acclaim for US Cellular has just received an update to Android 2.2 Froyo. US Cellular Acclaim owners will have to visit the Samsung's support site to download the update as it is not available over air.

The update does not specify what all is included in the update, so backing up your phone's contents will be a good idea if you don't want to lose anything. The update contains 102 MB. You will have to connect your handset to your computer and begin the download.
