News: Samsung SCH-R910 for MetroPCS passed by FCC

Back in January, we first saw photos of the Samsung SCH-R910, aka, Samsung Forte. Now, the FCC has passed the handset and will soon be launched in the US. MetroPCS is the reported carrier who will launch the SCH-R910.

When the handset was first revealed, it was said to be the Samsung Forte, but no word from the FCC or Samsung whether this handset is actually the one and the same. The SCH-R910 or Forte is and Android handset that is a touchscreen device and is said to come with these following features:

a WVGA display
Wi-Fi
5MP camera
1GHz processor.

The Samsung SCH-R910 or Forte will launch around February 11 via MetroPCS’ 4G markets.
