help with phone and plan

so i dont have a data plan but i was told i could use the wifi on my samsung galaxt ace and that it wouldnt cost extra on the phone bill. so my question is will it cost extra if i download apps from the market or samsung app thing?? i dont want to be adding more money to the bill.. I hope someone has an answer for me

it will not add extra cost from the market

as long as you're only using the wifi connection you won't have any additional data charges.
