    Greetings all,

I am thinking of upgrading and replacing my GS3 with an unlocked Galaxy Note 3 from a third party dealer. I am in Southern California and a T-Mobile customer. Apparently there are two versions, the N9000 and the LTE N9005. I am not sure which one I should purchase. My intention in getting an unlocked phone is so that in the future I can switch carriers easily if I choose. This is not something I expect to do any time soon, but it would be nice to have the option. Obviously, I also want the best performance. Any info would be appreciated.

    Thank You,

    --Jim

take a look at this video:

I would get the N9005 for the LTE support, although you may have a hard time getting it to work on the LTE channels that the different carriers use. I'm not sure exactly what would be involved in doing that, but I'm going to guess when buying directly from a carrier they already have it provisioned for them, so I'm sure there is a way to do it.

Not sure what you can get it for from your dealer, but Amazon has a couple different sellers selling it for around $640: Amazon.com: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 III N900 32gb Black Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone: Cell Phones & Accessories
