    Cellulo name

It is the Sanyo SCP-5500, or to Sprint, the VM4500. I have it, it works great. Haven't activated the PTT yet, since nobody else has Sprint PTT phone.

None of the three PTT technologies are compatible. If you have one company's phone, then you can only contact (PTT) someone that is with the same company.

I don't believe that ptt will be compatible across carriers anytime soon, because they all use different technologies. Sprint uses the web and breaks the audio into packets, transmits, then the phone receiving the transmission combines the packets and produces audio(kinda like voice over IP). Nextel (uses IDEN 800Mhz digital)works exactly like a walkie talkie. I believe Verizon is more similar to Sprint, but their web service is not as fast, so there is a large delay when initiating and during conversations. Maybe a few years from now, when the FCC gets involved and sets a standard across all carriers, then their will be compatibility.
