Re: How Come "Rep Power" Doesn't Work?
People need to give rep more often, until yesterday I had only two reputation posts in a year, one good and one bad and ever since then I have been stuck sitting at -47. I got some more good rep finally added since then today bringing me to -41. Anyone willing to help me at least get out of the negatives...I have been stuck for so long, just for not being able to get a picture of a phone...
If my post helped you out, I would really appreciate a little Rep, Thanks, im running beyond low.

Re: How Come "Rep Power" Doesn't Work?
the 1 rep power point that is given at 25 rep points... plus you've been a member apx 635 days... 635/90 (1 rep point for every 90 days)= 7 rep points... plus one point for exceeding 500 posts... =9....
you'll go to 10 rep power when your rep score exceeds 250 (you say its 146 now), or when you hit 1000 posts, or when you go over the next 90 day threshold... whichever comes first.
*******************
@john... it's probably a vB thing... but in the user CP if both were listed "146 points gathered. Your reputation altering power is 9"
Or.... I'll make a thread called "calculate your reputation power" and do a worksheet like the EZ tax form....
********************
a)Look at your User CP. Top right of the reputation comment area. If you have more that 25 “points total” give yourself 1 point
b)Now, take that same “points total” score and divide it by 500. Ignore the remainder – its whole numbers of nuthin’ here… give yourself that number of points
c)Look at your profile and estimate how many days you have been a member. Divide that number by 90. Again, ignore the remainder and give yourself that number of points
d)Add them all up... score should be close...Last edited by jeaniesing; 02-16-2007 at 07:05 AM.
