okay, My buddy sent me a .midi file from his t610, and I tried d/l-ing it to my phone, and that didn't work. then I had him e-mail it to me, and with no luck would not play on my pc. so I am wondering what kind of format is this midi file in? And, with that question, is there a prog. I can d/l to play, and/or convert said file to standard midi? thanks ahead for any advice

Listen... About your doubt about the conversion I can help you.
Said file like wav or mp3 have different layers from midi... MIDI files plays standard layers with instrumental sounds... It's almost impossible to convert said files to MIDI...
I'll not say to you that there's no program... There is! But they not convert it well... It's horrible...
