Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Use the USB cable to connect your smartphone to your computer via USB
  2. Once the AutoPlay window appears on your computer, click to browse the device's files and folders
  3. Access the phone's "Internal storage" folder
  4. Open the "Music" and / or "Notifications" folder(s)
  5. Launch a second Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the audio files are stored on your computer
  6. Copy the files, and paste them on your phone's storage. (NOTE: past the files in the "Music" or "Notifications" folder, depending if you wish to use the audio files as ringtones and / or notification sounds etc.)
  7. Once the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
  8. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  9. It's now safe to disconnect your smartphone from the computer

Changing the Phone's Ringtone:

  1. Ensure you have transferred the desired audio files in the "Music" folder
  2. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
  3. Go to "Settings"
  4. Under "Device", tap "Sound"
  5. Scroll to "Ringtone & Vibration" and tap "Phone ringtone"
  6. Tap the "Music" icon located in the top-right corner
  7. Navigate to and select the audio file that you wish to use as your phone's ringtone
  8. Tap "Done"

Changing the Ringtone of One Contact:

  1. Make sure you have transferred the desired audio files in the "Music" folder
  2. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  3. Access the "Contacts" tab located in the top-left corner
  4. Select the contact that you wish to set a custom ringtone to
  5. Tap the "Edit contact" icon located in the upper-right area of the screen
  6. Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
  7. Tap the "Music" icon located in the top-right corner of the screen
  8. Navigate to, and select the audio file that you wish to set as a custom ringtone
  9. Tap "Done", followed by "Done" again to confirm

Changing the Notifications Sound:

  1. Ensure that the desired custom notification sound files have been transferred in the "Notifications" folder
  2. Launch the apps drawer
  3. Tap "Settings"
  4. Scroll to "Device" and tap "Sound"
  5. Tap "Default notification sound" under "System"
  6. Select the file that you wish to use. NOTE: the newly transferred custom notification sounds will be shown at the bottom of the list
  7. Tap "Done" to confirm
