Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:
NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with that account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on Android.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC and import its content to your phonebook using Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can use third-party apps to share your contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on that iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
