Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync your account data with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts Using iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
- Install the same app on the Android phone from the Play Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desire contacts and tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
