    Hi all –

Getting bilked by Sprint for late fees buried in your cell phone service contract? You’re not alone. California consumers are taking on Sprint for inflated late fees.

I work with a law firm that is looking to represent consumers penalized by Sprint’s late fees. If you’re a Sprint customer in California and have paid a late fee to Sprint, you can contact the law firm to join the suit or learn more about this investigation by visiting hbsslaw.com/sprint.

They want to hear from you.

Re: Tired of Sprint's Late Fees?

Late fees are standard among all wireless carriers.

Sprint PCS's terms and conditions, which the consumer agreed to when getting service, specifically states:

a late payment charge, which may be charged at the highest rate permissible by law, ...
This means that Sprint charges as much as they possibly can, within the government's limits. This is usually around $5, which is reasonable and all carriers do it and it is completely legal.

Why would a customer need to pay a bill on time if they didn't have a penalty? The penalty is a gently reminder that tells you that you should pay on time...rather than just disconnecting your service for non-payment.
