    I was with Verizon for 3 years (they are the best for CDMA in my opinion).

    Then I switched to T-Mobile because I needed GSM. In my research, I chose T-Mobile over the other carriers.

    So I say both depending on what network you use.

    T-Mobile = GSM
    Verizon = CDMA

    i heard verizon has good networks but i need my text messaging and verizon doesnt offer unlimited texts like tmobile...the only thing about tmobile..it doesnt offer a good 29.99 plan..i hate that its only 300anytime minutes...oh well..cant always win!

    i just checked and u may be right...they used to have something called buddy time....i have had it for almost a year now..its unlimited texts, unlimited mobile to mobile and i forgot what else for $9.99 extra...u can call to see if they still offer it

    i had verizon and it had great service, now i have t-mobile for $$$ reasons
    controversy sells.

    Yep, I remember -- I think they took that away for the time being. Family plan is still pretty sweet, and I think you can add unlimited m2m calling for $7/month now.

    Text messages really shouldn't cost any money...

    All depends on where you use it, full nationwide coverage I believe Verizon is the best. T-Mobile has good coverage for a majority of people who use phones. For the most part I still think Verizon has better interior coverage, but T-mob is slowly catching up.

    Now for most bang for the buck it is T-Mobile
