contract is up and want to get two new phones. got them with the initial sign up but not eligible at a renewal. the account is in my name and my wife is also on the account as she also has a phone.
told i need to cancel for three months then re-apply. is there a way i can not cancel and still be eligible to re apply? would like the same numbers. thought about having my wife apply and me being secondary mumber on the account since technically she isn't the contract holder. will that work? any other ideas?
thanxs

Yes, since she's not the primary account holder she will be a new account. Although with a little complaining you should be able to get the same deal.

let your wife apply for the plan and when your wife get the plan, cancel your service to them. i dont think that you can still keep the tel no. that you have right now in this case, but hey! what you have to lose! you got new phone new number i think thats worth it.

you know, after 11 months of being in service with Tmobile, you are eligable for upgrades!! Maybe not the phone you originally had, but you can get a good discount on the same model.

11 months? I thought it was 8 months of uninterrupted service.

T-Mobile Renewal
I am a T-Mobile dealer and it is 11 months to be eligible for the upgrade pricing, and 6 months with no interruptions to be eligible for the Mail-In rebates. Best bet have your wife sign up as a new customer to get the best deals on the phones.
