Im using tmobile to-go with a motorola V330 phone.
I rarely use the phone so I dont want a contact.
But can I access WAP sites using my above mentioned phone.
Cause when I try to access a wireless site for instance cnnmobile, my phone states
You do not have access rights to this site
What can I do? Any info?

Re: Possible to access WAP internet using Tmobile To-Go ???
i have a tmobile to go phone which i havent touched in ages and it is way less "sophisticated" than yours and i was still able to go online with it at wap sites. It may be that you have a block on T-mobiles side. Call customer service if you cant access any site.
Also you must have money in your account to go online, if you have a balance of zero then that is the reason why you cant go online. your balance does expire, i hope you know that.
I love my cellys

Re: Possible to access WAP internet using Tmobile To-Go ???
i just installed Klondike WAP browser and now if I try to connect to any website I get this error:
The server has reported the following error:
"500 Internal server error"
I called T-mobile ...... they say that the HP H6315 does not support T-zones.
They also told me that the only way to get internet access from T-mobile on a pre-paid plan is to get a Sidekick. The rep told me that on a prepaid sidekick you have unlimited internet access. She told me that sidekick uses some special server via the "hiptop protocol".
Not sure what that is.

Re: Possible to access WAP internet using Tmobile To-Go ???
Hi there try the following settings for Klondike:
Launch Klondike.
Click menu (lower left corner)
1)General Tab
Set homepage as Http://wap.myvoicestream.com
3)Connection Tab
Connection Type: Http connection through a proxy server
Proxy server settings:
Domain: 216.155.165.50 Port: 80.
Good luck, hope it works.

Re: Possible to access WAP internet using Tmobile To-Go ???
Also if I try to use "WAP gateway connection" as connection type.....I get :
Reason: Timeout waiting for reply
But here is when it gets interesting:
If I try to use direct HTTP connection and try to access the homepage (the one you told me to set the homepage to) I get redirected to this:
10.176.39.70/resources/webpages/error.jsp
I then get this message:
Error Unknown
Your homepage is temporarily unavailable. Please try later.
I think T-mo has specifically denied us access.

Re: Possible to access WAP internet using Tmobile To-Go ???
Yes, you are right....the tech support confirms that.
The problem with Flex Pay is that I still wont get any internet UNLESS I add the internet for 20 bucks a month !
Also No free T-zones because this iPaq does not support T-zones (thats what they say!)
That is asking for too much for SLOOOOOOW GPRS. Furthermore I dont plan to use internet on the iPaq regularly.......only for emergency access.
.....so it does not make any sense to me to ditch my prepaid.
Thanks anyway!
