News: T-Mobile G2X Gingerbread update to arrive "by summer"

Earlier it was reported that the T-Mobile G2X would launch soon, with Gingerbread update, according to T-Mobile USA and it looks like that T-Mobile has finally given us somewhat of a time frame. According to T-Mobile's Twitter account page, the Gingerbread update for T-Mobile G2X is said to arrive "by summer."

This could mean that T-Mobile USA may launch this handset as early as June, since June is considered summer.

Right now, the G2X is out of stock and since this phone seems to be in high demand, it's very possible that T-Mobile will up the price of the G2X once it comes out with the update, bringing the original price of $199 on contract to $299.
