T-Mobile Legacy Prepaid Plan ?

Hello,

I have the old legacy prepaid plan for T-Mobile. I have a Samsung Galaxy II, but want to purchase a newer updated phone.

My question is can I purchase any T-Mobile approved phone and pop my sim in there, or does it have to be a prepaid phone type only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use the $100 cards and you can use any phone T-Mobile or unlocked.
