OK, so is this a bit odd I ask you?

Having recently upgraded to Windows Vista it came as no surprise that
O2's Connection Manager software for its data card didn't work. There
are ways of getting the device drivers loaded (which I've done at it
works) - but that's another conversation.

I called O2 and enquired about support for the Connection Manager
software in Windows Vista - and the response was to "email Microsoft
and request a patch" - no other details were given. Having pointed out
that Microsoft is really quite a large company, the response was "well,
    in that case email microsoft.com"...great.

The bottom line is that O2 have no current plans to support Windows
Vista (at least, none they're publicly admitting to which probably
    means they are).

Does anyone have any better information?

    Thanks

O2 Datacards are provided by Sierra Wireless and looking at their web
site they haven't issued any updates for Vista yet, but you can
    register your interest at:-

I would expect O2 to release updates to connection manager very soon
after Sierra Wireless release their updates.
